Training and studying abroad in an EduKick international soccer & education program equips young student-players for life’s challenges Overview Hennef Germanyin a way no other experience can. Not only will they be prepared for a competitive international soccer environment, they will learn a deep appreciation for a new language and culture as well as continuing their education in a “School of Excellence.”
By participating in our EduKick Germany Academy student-athletes will be better prepared for the decisions they are considering when it comes to choosing Overview Hennef Germanya North American College or University that best fits their personal academic needs and allows them to continue playing soccer at an increasingly higher level.
Location:
Toronto FC became MLS’s fourteenth team in the league, and first Canadian team, upon their expansion in 2007. The team plays their home matches at the soccer-specific BMO Field, located in Exhibition Place along the Toronto lake shore. BMO Field is also the National Soccer Stadium hosting many Canadian men’s & women’s international matches and it served as a major venue for the 2007 FIFA U-20 World Cup, including hosting the opening and final matches.
University of Toronto, Scarborough Campus is the home of EduKick programs in Canada. The athletics and recreational centre offers: 3 x Outdoor Full size soccer fields, Gym, Cardio theatre, Tennis, basketball & volleyball facilities.
The scarborough campus will also be the venue for several events at the 2014 Pan-Am games and as such a new field house will be constructed containing: 2 Olympic-sized swimming pools, a diving tank and dry-land training facilities as well as a flexible gym space and a track and fitness area.
Accommodations:
EduKick residential programs that take place at the University of Toronto Scarborough Campus will endeavor to use the campus residence apartment or townhouse facilities. If on campus residence facilities are not available EduKick will secure 24/7 monitored off campus accommodations.
All townhouses are within a 5 minute walk to any U of T Scarborough facility. Living in a townhouse allows students to live in the most scenic parts of campus. Each unit consists of 4-6 students and is self-contained and fully furnished with bedrooms, bathroom(s), a kitchen, storage area and a living room/dining room. There are laundry rooms available in the townhouse area and resident are given 24 hour access. Apartments consist of four and three bedroom units – all come equipped with two bathrooms, a full kitchen, a living/dining room, and a storage room. Each of the apartment buildings four floors has a common room facing the scenic Highland Creek Valley. These central areas are used both for social activities as well as study space during exam periods. Across from the lounge on each floor are laundry, garbage, and recycling rooms.
Education:
Preparation is the most important aspect for any student interested to continue their education at German University or Colleges. EduKick Germany provides a complete education information package that ensures students are fully prepared and at the end of their course they will have:
- Created a Player Profile
- Identified 4-6 Universities that offer the students desired course of study
- Created an Introduction letter and resume
- Written the SAT pre test
- Researched available scholarships
- Students will Know what questions to ask University Head Coaches
- Created a time frame for school visits and explore costs involved with a full University program
- Understood the University/college application process

Our mandate is to develop soccer players who can move on to the next level and showcase their talents and knowledge of the game. We have high expectations for our athletes: they must listen to instruction, work harder than the next person, respect the game and take pride in that which they represent. EduKick has partnered with Cosmo Soccer to deliver the Soccer specific Training each day.
We want to offer the modern soccer student athlete top class training and support, scouting and scholarship opportunities, and most importantly, a positive and enthusiastic attitude towards soccer which will stay for a lifetime.
Our focus is on long-term player development.
Our curriculum consists of:
- Ball and foot work
- Shooting and passing
- Situational offensive and defensive strategies
- Ball distribution
- Mental preparation
- Game knowledge
- Showcase games against US Colleges/universities
- Classroom Soccer Qualifications
- Classroom Seminars
- Constant performance and Evaluation reports
- All reports/statistics are constantly recorded.
- During the College Prep Program students will participate in daily high intensity technical and tactical training sessions.
